Acai Yogurt Bake

Ingredients:

2 Zen Basil Hydrate Açaí Mix

• 1/2 C Water

• 1.5 cups yogurt of choice (I used greek yogurt)

• 4 eggs

• 2 tablespoons almond flour

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 2 tablespoons maple syrup

• Serve with Fresh seasonal fruit


Process:

Prep Time: 5 mins

• Cook Time: 35 mins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8×8 baking dish

• In small bowl, whisk together one Açaí Zen Hydrate with water set aside 5 min

• In a medium bowl mix yogurt, eggs, almond flour, and vanilla until creamy

• Pour into a greased baking dish

• Drizzle the Açaí mixture over the top of the egg mix and spread evenly

• Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until fully cooked (the center shouldn’t be jiggly)

• Allow the yogurt bake to cool for a few minutes. Slice and enjoy with desired toppings

• Makes great leftovers! Chill for up to 3 days

Zen Basil Seeds Vegan Homemade Crackers

Ingredients:


2 cups blanched almond flour 

½ cup Zen Basil seeds 

¼ cup water

1 tsp sea salt 

Optional: 

¼ cup sesame seeds 

½ tsp garlic powder 

1-2 tsp onion powder 

½ tsp black pepper

Process:

Mix all dry ingredients well.

Add the water and mix well, use your hands, it will take about a minute to become a dough form.

Place the dough between two large pieces of parchment paper, lightly oiled. Use a roller, or your hands, to press down and flatten into a rectangle (About 2 cm thick) 

Peel off the top parchment paper 

Place the parchment lined baking sheet into the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until golden. Cool completely before breaking.

Waffle maker options:

Place two parchment papers with the flattened dough mixed inside between the waffle maker and it’s ready in 5 minutes just like how you would make a waffle!


Zen Basil Seed Cauliflower Rice

Zen Basil Seed Cauliflower Rice

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp Zen Basil Seeds

1 bag frozen cauliflower rice

1 onion

1-2 Tbsp coconut oil

½ lemon juiced (more to garnish)

1 tsp salt to taste

1 tsp cumin

1 avocado smash (use fork may add 1 tsp seeds)

Basil leaves to garnish

Process:

Sauté onion in coconut oil for 2-3 minutes. Add cauliflower, Zen Basil seeds, salt, cumin, and stir. Top with 1 tsp of coconut oil on top and cover. Simmer for 5-7 minutes. Mix again and serve.

To decor: In a round glass bowl, drizzle olive oil evenly all around, press down half the cooked mixture followed by one layer of avocado smashed followed by the 2nd layer of cooked mixture, let it sit for few min to settle, (make a bigger batch to keep chill overnight for next day) cover the bowl with flat plate and flip to drop the tower on your plate, may use a knife to loosen the sides..takes practice..garnish with lemon and basil leaves and dust nutritional yeast or perm and more greens.

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp Zen Basil Seeds

2-3 garlic cloves, minced

1 lemon freshly juiced

1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

½ cup coconut yogurt

½ cup coconut cream

½ cup water

2 tsp capers

2 Tbsp nutritional yeast

1 tsp salt & pepper

 

Process:

Blend all ingredients together for 15 seconds and serve.

Zen Basil Vegan Protein Bread

Zen Basil Seed Vegan Protein Bread

Nutrient Rich, Grain Free, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, and Keto Friendly!

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbsp Zen Basil Seeds

1 cup coconut flour

½ cup almond flour

2 Scoops 20/20 Plant Protein Powder

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

2 ¼ cups lukewarm water

2 tsp apple cider vinegar


Process

Set the oven to 350 degrees. Line a loaf pan 9 inches x 5 inches with parchment paper and set aside for later. Mix all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl, whisk together. Add the apple cider vinegar and lukewarm water. After 30 seconds, the dough will be moist, and slightly crumble apart. Use your hands to form the dough and make a ball. Form a dough ball and set it aside for 10 minutes to let the fiber absorb all the water and hold the ingredients together. Now the dough should be soft, elastic, and slightly moist but should hold perfectly together.

Shape a cylinder, bread loaf shape. Don't press the dough too much. It's a gluten-free loaf, it won't rise. If you press too much, it will be very dense and doughy. Place the loaf onto the prepared loaf pan covered with parchment paper.

Lastly, wet your fingers with water and massage the top of the bread to fix any cracks. Sprinkle 1 Tbsp of sesame seeds (optional).

Bake on the bottom rack of the oven (first rack from the bottom) for 45 minutes then switch to the middle rack for 15 extra minutes. Remove from the oven and cool on a rack for 4 hours, or overnight before slicing.

Seal and Store in the refrigerator.

INGREDIENTS:

1/3 CUP ZEN BASIL

1/3 CUP PUMKIN PURE

1/2 CUP RAW TAHINI 

3 EGGS 

1 TSP Honey or DATE SYRUP OR (Monk fruit)

1 TSP BAKING POWDER 

1/2 TSP SALT 

1/2 CUP OF CHOCOLATE CHIP

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. PLACE ALL THE INGREDIENTS IN A BOWL MIX

  2. SPRAY LOAF PAN WITH OLIVE OR COCONUT OIL

  3. POUR THE BATTER IN THE PAN

  4. BAKE FOR 15-20 MINUETS ON 350F OR UNTIL IT’S GOLDEN.

Zen Basil Seeds Keto And Vegan Super Bowl Snack-Fiber Rich Dip

Super Bowl Zen Basil Seed Dip

Ingredients:

2 Tbsp Zen Basil Seeds

1 cup water

1 cup sour cream

½ lemon

1-2 garlic minced (or dry garlic powder)

1 tsp salt & pepper


Process:

In a bowl add the Zen Basil Seeds and water. Mix and sit for 5 minutes. The seeds will be fully hydrated in 5 minutes. Add the sour cream, garlic, salt and pepper. Squeeze the lemon juice, then mix. Garnish with herbs and chopped nuts. Serve with veggies. This is a nutrient rich, high fiber dipping sauce perfect for the Super Bowl!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 C Coconut Flour

  • 1/2 C Almond flour

  • 1/3 C Psyllium Husk

  • 2 TBS Zen Basil

  • 2 TSP Baking Powder

  • 1/2 TSP Salt

  • 2 ¼ cups Lukewarm water

  • 2 teaspoons Apple cider vinegar


INSTRUCTIONS

  • Line a loaf pan 9 inches x 5 inches with parchment paper.

  • Mix all Dry ingredients a large mixing bowl, whisk together

  • Add apple cider vinegar and lukewarm water, Combine with a spoon at first. It will be very liquid at 1st and After 30 seconds, the dough is moist, not liquid, and slightly crumbles apart use your hands to form the dough and make a ball.

  • Form a dough ball and set it aside for 10 minutes to let the fiber absorb all the water and hold the ingredients together.

  • Now the dough should be soft, elastic, and slightly moist but should hold perfectly together.

Zen Basil Seed Almond Bread

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 Tbsp Zen Basil Seeds

  • 3 Eggs

  • 1 cup yogurt

  • 1 Cup Almond flour

  • 2 Tbsp Coconut flour

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp psyllium husk powder

  • 1/2 Tbsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp Salt

  • 2 Tbsp Fresh Rosemary and Sliced Almonds optional

Process:

  • Line a small loaf tin with parchment paper.

  • In a bowl, mix the eggs and yogurt with a fork, but mix very well until smooth.

  • Add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder and salt and mix until fully combined.

  • Last, add the Zen Basil seeds and psyllium husks and mix.

  • Fill the dough into the loaf tin and let it rest for 15 minutes so the psyllium and the Zen Basil seeds can absorb the liquid.

  • Sprinkle rosemary and almonds on the top.

  • Bake for 45 minutes at 350 or until the top is lightly browned and a knife inserted comes out clean.

Zen Basil Seeds Mango Dump Cake

Zen Basil Mango Cake

This recipe was inspired by an online trend that was using yellow cake mix from the box, we made it nutrient rich,  Zen Basil version!

Filling 

6 fresh mangoes

2 tbsp Zen Basil seeds 

2 C water

Optional (if the mangoes are not that sweet you may add 2 tbsp monk fruit)

Yellow cake replacement Toppings:

2 C almond flour 

2 tbsp monk fruit 

2 tsp corn starch

1/2 tsp baking soda 

1/4 tsp salt

Last step:

1/2 C olive oil drizzle on top

Mix filling ingredients, top with yellow cake Replacement, drizzle olive oil as the last step and bake 350F for 35-45 minutes.

Zen Basil Seed Tropical Sensation Drink


INGREDIENTS

2 Tbs Zen Basil
1 C water
1/2 C coconut milk
1 ice cube tray ginger turmeric juice
2 frozen bananas
3 cups fresh chopped pineapple
remaining coconut juice from can
additional chopped pineapple and shredded coconut for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

First, combine the water and Zen Basil mix and let rest for 5 minutes.

Next, stir in the coconut milk and set aside.

Toppings:
Place 1 frozen ice cube tray or ginger turmeric juice, 2 frozen bananas and 3 cups fresh chopped pineapple in a blender with the remaining coconut milk. Blend until smooth.

To serve, divide the basil seed pudding into 4 glasses and then top with the smoothie.

Top with additional chopped pineapple and shredded coconut, if desired.

Zen Basil FRESH KIWI POPS

INGREDIENTS (serves 6):

  • 4 kiwifruit, peeled

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 Tbsp ribboned mint, loosely packed

  1. 1/2 tsp lime zest

  2. 1 Tbsp zen basil seeds

PREPARATIONS:

  1. Combine 3 kiwis and water in blender and pulse until smooth.

  2. Slice the 4th kiwi and divide between 6 popsicle molds.

  3. Add mint, lime zest and basil seeds to kiwi water and stir. Divide between popsicle molds.

  4. Place molds in freezer to set ~3 hours - overnight.

  5. Remove from the freezer. Place mold under hot water for 3 seconds and gently remove ice pop from mold. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe Pumpkin Bread with Benefits

Ingredients: 

2 Tbs Zen Basil 

2 Scoop Protein Powder (2020 Vegan)

3 large Banana 

1 Cup Almond Flour

3/4 Cup Pumkin Puree

2 Tbs Yogurt

2 Tbs Olive Oil

1 Tsp Pumkin Spice

1/2 Tsp Cinnamon

Pinch of salt

1/2 Tsp baking Powder

1/2 Cup milk (Plant-based)  

3 Tbs Sugar (Monk fruit or Maple or Coconut)  

1 tsp vanilla extract 

 Whipped (coconut) 


Step 1:

2 TBS Zen Basil seeds 

1 Cup water mix and set 5min


Step 2:

In a bowl, use back of a fork to smash bananas add all wet ingredients, mix well, add all dry ingredients and mix all together. 

Spray 8x8 pan with olive oil and pour the mixture, (optional, sprinkle some walnuts or almonds) 

 

Step 3:

Bake 350 for 35-40 min

Cool 20 min and serve with whipped, sprinkle pumpkin spice

Organic ingredients + Directions:

Dairy free, Gluten free, Grain free

1 C Zen Basil seed, 2 C sliced almond, 2 tbsp sesame seeds, 1/2 C psyllium husk powder, 1 1/2 tsp JF universal Salt, 3 tbsp monk fruit, 2 C blueberries, 1 C Raspberries, 2 tbsp coconut oil, 1/4 C olive oil Drizzle, 1 1/2 C water, boiled, Optional 1/4 C walnuts

Directions:

In a sauce pan over medium heat combine blueberries raspberries coconut oil and monk fruit bring to boil and set a side.

Once cool add JF universal salt and Zen Basil seeds and mix well.

In a large bowl, combine almonds, psyllium husk boiling water mix.

Add Zen Basil fruit mixture, mix all together very well.

Push the ‘dough’ into the lined and greased loaf pan, sprinkle walnuts and sesame seed topping, drizzle olive oil, to push down the dough.

I Baked 375 about 45 min, JF og recipe was 400 for one hour, but last time I made this similar seed bread, this temp make the seeds too toasted. Depends on your oven

Let cool for 1-2 hours in the loaf pan before serving.

It pairs perfectly with sliced goat feta cheese
